This evening’s luminous program begins with two exciting works by CPE Bach — a viola concerto and a sinfonia. The second half delves into new music for Baroque instruments by Damien Geter and our own Martin Davids. The program concludes with the world premiere of Canzano’s Concerto Grosso in A major, composed especially for the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado. Our full chamber orchestra of 15 (strings and continuo) is joined by Nicola Canzano, Guest Artist and Composer; Vijay Chalasani, Artist-in-Residence; Martin Davids, Concertmaster.
