The April 2, 2020 performance of Elizabeth Jacquet de la Guerre’s cantata “Judith” and Dubuisson’s Suite III in A for solo bass viol at the Musical Club of Hartford in West Hartford, CT has been postponed indefinitely due to the situation regarding the novel corona virus. Connecticut’s governor has declared a state of emergency and the Westminster Presbyterian Church, the venue for the event, has cancelled all events for the foreseeable future. Performers would have been soprano Judith Milardo; violinist, Jane Alden; harpsichordist Anne Mayo; and gambist Laura Mazza-Dixon.
