Biography
Bass-Baritone Aaron Cain has performed and recorded with a variety of instrumental and vocal ensembles, most of which have made early music their focus. He has performed with groups such as The Los Angeles Philharmonic, The Los Angeles Master Chorale, Musica Angelica, the Los Angeles Chamber Singers, Catacoustic Consort, Cappella Romana, the Portland Baroque Orchestra, and the Oregon Bach Festival. He holds a Bachelor's of Music in voice from The University of Iowa and a Masters degree in choral conducting and a doctorate in vocal performance with a specialization in historical performance practice from the University of Oregon. Aaron is currently the music director of WFIU Public Radio, in Bloomington, Indiana, where he hosts the weekday morning music program.
