Applications are open now! The competition is open to students age 12-18 who live in North or South Carolina and study with a private music teacher. Students will be asked to submit an application comprised of a video performance of one piece written before 1800 as well as a brief personal statement.
Amateur adult musicians are also welcome and encouraged to apply! While the adult category is not a competition, applicants will have the opportunity to perform repertoire for feedback by an esteemed panel of judges.
Learn more & apply at bacharlotte.com/education/competition. Applications due December 15.
