The mobile device app Early Music Companion includes a working Guido’s Hand, a database of composers, a solmization tutor, and quick references for early notation, modes, tuning, and a table of transpositions by clef. More information, including sample screenshots and links to the App Store and Google Play, are available on the Early Music Companion web site. In appreciation for all that the early music community has given him, the author has lowered the price to zero. The app is now free.
