Join us in Staunton in spring 2025 for the fourth annual BaroqueFest! BaroqueFest 2025, “Bach’s Passion,” assembles 26 superlative musicians for a weekend devoted to J. S. Bach, his music, and the composers who inspired him. Featured works include the St. John Passion (complete), Orchestral Suites 1 and 2, selections from The Musical Offering and Art of the Fugue, concertos and cantatas, as well as works by composers who influenced Bach, including Vivaldi, Buxtehude, Pachelbel, Erlebach, Fasch, Telemann, and others.
All concerts feature acclaimed period-instrument performers. Seven programs include music for voices, orchestra, and chamber ensembles and feature historical keyboards.
