Join Capriccio Baroque to hear harpsichord star Justin Taylor perform a gorgeous program of music by J.S. Bach and Italian contemporaries who inspired Bach to compose some works in their vibrant, sparkling ‘Italian Style’. Justin plays selections from his recent blockbuster album ‘Bach&l’Italie’ (recipient of the Diapason d’Or; Choc de Classica; BBC Music Choice…) and extends the theme by including additional dazzling virtuosic works of Scarlatti, Marcell0, and Valente.

This is the opening concert for ‘Festival Capriccio 2024’, presented by Capriccio Baroque in Washington D.C. Other Festival performers include Pierre Hantaï, playing two concerts, one of Handel and Scarlatti, and the other of J.S.
