Join us in a friendly conversation with renowned recorder player and early music educator!
For many, Eva Legêne’s name most probably needs no further introduction. Born into the fourth-generation family of musicians in the Netherlands, she has been internationally sought-after both as a recorder performer and pedagogue. This session will invite her to talk about her long and continuing career, her reflections on her studies, and some of the golden wisdom she has learned from musical luminaries such as Frans Brüggen, Gustav Leonhardt, and the Kuijkens.
In addition, I’ll also invite Eva to talk about one of her favorite subjects (and also mine as well!) – rhetoric in rhythm. Expect an amazingly educational hour!
