Enjoy the York Early Music Christmas Festival at home in the company of some of the world’s finest early music specialists. This year, we bring you 7 concerts recorded at St Margaret’s Church, York, the home of the National Centre for Early Music. The 7 concerts include The Orlando Consort at the end of their final year of their 35 year career, Solomon’s Knot performing Johann Kuhnau’s Christmas Cantatas and the dynamic baroque ensemble Spiritato with the Gramophone-nominated vocal group The Marian Consort. Bojan Cicic brings two performances: JS Bach’s Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin, and we celebrate two European emerging ensembles La Palatine (France) and El Gran Teatro del Mundo (Spain) who will delight our audiences.
Online tickets are on sale now and available to watch on demand from 12 noon Monday 19 December – Tuesday 31 January.
