ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Morgan Library & Museum recently acquired a manuscript (Cary Ms. 703) that includes several newly discovered sonatas by the great Spanish keyboard composer Antonio Soler. This program will include three sonatas from Cary Ms. 703, as well as three from another manuscript also held by the Morgan Library. Two of the sonatas, R. 184 & 185, were also recorded for the first time by Ms. Pechefsky earlier this year.
