About

Now in its 52nd year, the Aston Magna Music Festival is the longest-running annual summer festival in America devoted to music performed on period instruments. Our aim is to interpret the music of the past as the composer imagined it. Founded in 1972 by the late Lee Elman and Albert Fuller, it has forged a unique place in American cultural life.  The Aston Magna Festival is a summer music Festival that takes place Thursdays at Brandeis University, and Saturdays in Great Barrington at Saint James Place, from July through early August.
