“Stunning in its breadth and beauty,” (Broad Street Review) Piffaro’s season finale is drawn from the rich sacred and secular repertoire found in manuscripts of 16th and 17th-century Peru, Chile, and Bolivia. Piffaro’s wind band is augmented with plucked strings, percussion, and five stellar vocalists. Special guest, Argentinian tenor and lutenist Jonatan Alvarado, sings “with quiet intensity, a lifetime of artistry distilled.”
Entre dos Álamos was filmed live in concert on May 19, 2023 at Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral and will be streamed on demand May 27-June 6.
Tickets are $21 and available at https://piffaro.secure.force.com/ticket.
