The City of Ladies tells the story of Christine de Pizan (1364 – ca.1430), a revolutionary woman who questioned the treatment of women and their role in society in her magnum opus, The Book of the City of Ladies. Servir Antico perform music contemporary to Pizan’s time including medieval works by Guillaume DuFay and Baude Cordier.
