Tutti Bassi, a cello duo comprised of Handel and Haydn Society cellists Colleen McGary-Smith and Sarah Freiberg, has just released its CD “Have Cellos, Will Travel” on the Centaur label. Comprised of 18th century works by composers from a variety of European countries, (Galliard, de Fesch, Cirri, Barsanti, Paxton, Boismortier) the CD also includes a Cervetto trio with Guy Fishman, and further accompaniment from Michael Sponseller on the harpsichord.
